Restoration and conservation grants for monuments, archives, and ecclesiastical sites of national significance. Awards are made to projects that demonstrate measurable public benefit, sound governance, and lasting impact for Hungarian communities.

Objectives

  • Restore monuments, ecclesiastical buildings and historic public spaces
  • Catalogue and digitise archives, manuscripts and cultural artefacts
  • Safeguard intangible heritage including folk traditions, dialects and crafts
  • Train conservators and heritage professionals

Eligible activities

Eligible activities include capital investment, professional services, technology and equipment, training, monitoring and evaluation, and publication of results. Operating costs may be supported where directly tied to delivery of the programme objectives.

How to apply

Applications are submitted through the Trust's application portal. Each submission is reviewed by an independent panel against the published evaluation rubric. Successful applicants enter a grant agreement specifying reporting milestones and disbursement schedule.
